FUSION WINS 6TH STRAIGHT BY POUNDING TOLEDO 50-0

AN ELECTRIFIED CROWD WATCHED THE CLEVELAND FUSION BEAT THEE TOLEDO REIGN 50-0 SATURDAY NIGHT AT CWRU STADIUM. The Fusion has outscored its opponents 259-12 so far this season. No Offense has scored on the #1 RANKED FUSION DEFENSE this season. Quarterback Beth Andrasik was 9 for 21 for 188 yards, 3 touchdowns and 0 interceptions. Maria Jackson had 3 receptions for 122 yards. Chawnte Johnson and Martina Latessa had 125 and 110 yards rushing, respectively. Both running backs had touchdowns. Other highlights included a 93 yard pass from Andrasik  to Jackson and a 67 yard kickoff return by Angela Mason. On defense, Stephanie Russo, Christy Conlin, Angela Mason, Leann McKee and Katie Green had interceptions. The team has a BYE this weekend. FUSION REMAINS UNDEFEATED; BLASTS CINCINNATI 47-6

THE FUSION BEAT ICKY WOODS’ CINCINNATI SIZZLE 47-6 Saturday in Cincinnati. The Fusion’s record is 5-0 outscoring its opponents 209-12. Quarterback Beth Andrasik was 14 for 27 for 230 yards. Maria Jackson had four of the team’s touchdowns. Martina Latessa, Chawnte Johnson and Kaeleen Boden also scored. Latessa had 26 rushes for 169 yards. Emily Richmond and Angela Mason had interceptions The FUSION DEFENSE, RANKED #1 IN THE NATION HAS STILL NOT ALLOWED AN OPPONENT TO SCORE. The team returns home to CWRU this SATURDAY, MAY 18 at 7 PM to face Thee Toledo Reign .WE’LL LOOK FOR YOU THERE. GO FUSION.

FUSION REMAINS UNDEFEATED;CRUSHES CENTRAL MARYLAND 42-0

The Fusion won its fourth straight as they pounded the Central Maryland Seahawks 42-0 Saturday night at CWRU Stadium. Our great Fusion fans again WENT NUCLEAR as they cheered their team on to a great victory.The Fusion has outscored its opponents 162-6 to date. Quarterback Beth Andrasik threw a touchdown pass to Martina Latessa. Chawnte Johnson, Candace Jones, Veronica Rucker and Andrasik also scored. The mighty Fusion defense has yet to allow an opponent to score on it. Leann McKee had 11 tackles, Desiree Alexander had 7 tackles and Stephanie Russo and “Wrecking Ball” Rucker has 5 tackles each. Rucker, Russo, Angela Mason and Christy Conlin all had interceptions.The team travels to Cincinnati this Saturday to play former Cincinnati Bengal Icky Woods’ Cincinnati Sizzle. Cincinnati has a record of 3-1. The Fusion goal is to MAKE ICKY SHUFFLE. The team returns home on Saturday, May 18 to host Thee Toledo Reign. Plan on being there. GO FUSION!
