The Fusion is Cleveland’s women’s full-contact football team. We were founded in 2001 and compete against teams across North America as a member of the Women’s Football Alliance.

Everything we do is rooted in making Cleveland better – on and off the field, by winning games and inspiring the next generation of athletes.

The Fusion is dedicated to giving back to the community through volunteerism and partnerships with organizations such as the Girls Scouts of Northeast Ohio, the LGBT Community Center of Greater Cleveland, and in partnership with the NFL, provide coaching clinic for girls playing flag football.

In 2017, we founded the 501c3 non-profit organization, Cleveland Women’s Football, to increase our ability to give back to the greater Cleveland community. Cleveland Women’s Football focuses on women’s empowerment, women’s health, and increasing young girls’ accessibility to athletics.

Come out and watch one of our four home games at the beautiful Mustang Stadium, a 5000 seat venue in Maple Heights, Ohio. Our season runs from April to June with playoff games into July. Our games include a professional DJ, delicious food, and activities for the kids, making this a perfect family-friendly event.
