The Cleveland Fusion have a bye week for Week 3, but while we wait for their return, let’s celebrate as league statistics were updated to reveal that your local women’s football team is once again leading the standings.
The Fusion offense is #1 in the division for Rushing yards with a total of 537 rushing yards. They are also #2 in the division with 659 total yards in the first two games.
Daziah Green is #2 in Rushing Yards with 241 yards across 23 carries. Her total of 7 touchdowns earned her the #1 spot for division touchdowns. Green also leads in kickoff and punt returns.
Mercedez Ephraim follows close behind at #2 for kickoff returns with her 57-yard run last Saturday.
Veronica Rucker once again leads the division in Tackles with 14 solo and 4 assists, and Chelsea Biggers got the #1 spot with 3 sacks and is #2 in fumble recoveries.

The Fusion are on the road the next few weeks to face the New York Wolves and Detroit Dark Angels but will be back on home turf for redemption against Pittsburgh on May 11th.
