FUSION REMAINS UNDEFEATED;CRUSHES CENTRAL MARYLAND 42-0

The Fusion won its fourth straight as they pounded the Central Maryland Seahawks 42-0 Saturday night at CWRU Stadium. Our great Fusion fans again WENT NUCLEAR as they cheered their team on to a great victory.The Fusion has outscored its opponents 162-6 to date. Quarterback Beth Andrasik threw a touchdown pass to Martina Latessa. Chawnte Johnson, Candace Jones, Veronica Rucker and Andrasik also scored. The mighty Fusion defense has yet to allow an opponent to score on it. Leann McKee had 11 tackles, Desiree Alexander had 7 tackles and Stephanie Russo and “Wrecking Ball” Rucker has 5 tackles each. Rucker, Russo, Angela Mason and Christy Conlin all had interceptions.The team travels to Cincinnati this Saturday to play former Cincinnati Bengal Icky Woods’ Cincinnati Sizzle. Cincinnati has a record of 3-1. The Fusion goal is to MAKE ICKY SHUFFLE. The team returns home on Saturday, May 18 to host Thee Toledo Reign. Plan on being there. GO FUSION!

Undefeated Fusion Rips Derby City Dynamite 40-0.

The Fusion remains undefeated by beating Derby City Dynamite 40-0 last Saturday night in Louisville. The Fusion Defense Ranked #1 in the nation again held Kentucky scoreless. To date the Fusion has scored 120 points to their opponents 6. No offense has yet scored on the #1 Defense. Be sure to watch the Fusion Live this Saturday, May 4 at 7 PM at CWRU as they play host to Central Maryland. Fusion Hammers Toledo 36-6 in Toledo Saturday night.

The Fusion hammered Thee Toledo Reign 36-6 last Saturday night in Toledo Ohio. Candace Jones had 4 receptions for 101 yards and 3 touchdowns. Chawnte Johnson had 23 carries for 104 yards. Quarterback Beth Andrasik was 6 for 16 with 3 touchdown passes and 2 interceptions. The Fusion Defense has still not allowed a touchdown this season.  Veronica Rucker again led the defense with 11 tackles and 1 sack. Leann McKee had 9 tackles and 4 sacks. Elizabeth Dillow had 9 tackles and 1 sack. The team travels to Louisville, Kentucky this Saturday to play the Derby City Dynamite.

Fusion Drills Derby City Dynamite 44-0 in Home Opener

THE CLEVELAND FUSION opened its 2013 season last Saturday night at CWRU Stadium by pounding the Derby City Dynamite (Louisville KY) 44-0. Fans present “WENT NUCLEAR” as KATIE GREEN led the team with THREE INTERCEPTIONS and TWO TOUCHDOWNS. Martina Latessa, Maria Jackson and Kanisha Coward als scored touchdowns. The DEFENSE led by VERONICA RUCKER held the Dynamite to ONLY TWO FIRST DOWNS. Rucker had sixteen tackles. Leann McKee had nine tackles and three fumble recoveries. The FUSION travels to Toledo this Saturday to play Thee Toledo Reign, then to Louisville the following weekend. The FUSION returns home on SATURDAY, MAY 4 to play Central Maryland for it second home game. We hope to see you there.
