WFA DISTRICT CHAMPION CLEVELAND FUSION’S BEST SEASON (8-0 REGULAR SEASON AND 9-1 OVERALL) IN HISTORY CAME TO A CLOSE SATURDAY NIGHT IN CHICAGO AS THE CHICAGO FORCE BEAT THE FUSION 65-7. THE FORCE, WHO IS PROBABLY DESTINED FOR THE NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP EXTENDED THEIR PERFECT RECORD TO 9-0. FUSION WINS IN FIRST ROUND OF WFA PLAYOFFS ; BEATS WEST MICHIGAN 35-6.

THE CLEVELAND FUSION BEAT THE WEST MICHIGAN MAYHEM 35-6 IN THE FIRST ROUND OF THE WFA PLAYOFFS SATURDAY NIGHT AT CWRU. Quarterback Beth Andrasik was 12 for 25 for 204 yards, 2 TDs and 1 interception. Scoring touchdowns for the Fusion were Chawnte Johnson, Maria Jackson, Candace Jones and Kanisha Coward. Chawnte Johnson had 22 carries for 159 yard and 2 TDs. Maria Jackson had 4 receptions for 135 yards and 1 TD. Angela Mason had 3 interceptions. THE FUSION GOES TO CHICAGO NEXT SATURDAY TO PLAY THE CHICAGO FORCE IN THE SECOND ROUND OF PLAYOFFS. GO FUSION!

FUSION FINISHES 2013 REGULAR SEASON 8-0 ; BEATS CENTRAL MARYLAND 48-0.

THE CLEVELAND FUSION CRUSHED THE CENTRAL MARYLAND SEAHAWKS 48-0 SATURDAY NIGHT IN BALTIMORE FINISHING THEIR REGULAR SEASON WITH A PERFECT 8-0 RECORD. The Fusion has outscored its opponents 359-12 during it’s 2013 regular season. Quarterback Beth Andrasik was 5 for 9 for 2 touchdowns and no interceptions. Veteran running back Martina Latessa rushed for 3 touchdowns and threw for a 4th. Chawnte Johnson, Veronica Rucker, Kanisha Coward and Maria Jackson also scored touchdowns. The FUSION RETURNS HOME TO CWRU NEXT SATURDAY, JUNE 15 AT 7:00 PM TO HOST THE WEST MICHIGAN MAYHEM FOR THE FIRST ROUND OF THE 2013 PLAYOFFS. FUSION MAKES IT SEVEN STRAIGHT BY RIPPING CINCINNATI 55-6.

WE DID IT AGAIN. YOUR CLEVELAND FUSION BEAT ICKY WOOD’S CINCINNATI SIZZLE 55-6 SATURDAY NIGHT AT CWRU STADIUM. Hundreds of FUSION FANS (THE GREATEST FANS ON THE PLANET) braved  the elements to enjoy another great rout.  Martina Latessa and Chawnte Johnson each rushed for over 100 yards. Quarterback Beth Andrasik was 11 for 18 with 3 touchdowns and no interceptions. Latessa, Johnson, Andrasik, as well as Kaeleen Boden, Candace Jones and Maria Jackson had touchdowns. Angela Mason had an interception. The Fusion travels to Baltimore this Saturday to make it a PERFECT 8-0 SEASON against Central Maryland.
