FUSION SEASON ENDS IN CHICAGO WITH 71-13 LOSS TO THE FORCE

The Cleveland Fusion season ended Saturday night in Chicago with a 71-13 playoff defeat at the hands of an extremely strong Chicago Force team. QB BETH ANDRASIK was 7 for 21 for 71 yards, 1 TD and 4 interceptions. RB MERCEDES EPHRAIM had 20 carries for 25 yards and a reception for 32 yards. WR MARIA JACKSON had two receptions for 27 yards and 1 TD. LB/RB CHRISTINE MASON had 5 carries for 31 yards and 1 TD. LEAGUE LEADING TACKLER VERONICA RUCKER although double teamed most of the night led the DEFENSE with 9.5 tackles. LB/RB CHRISTINE MASON had 8 tackles. CB CHELSEA BIGGERS had 3.5 tackles and 1 sack.

FUSION FINISHES REGULAR SEASON WITH 42-12 WIN OVER WEST MICHIGAN. HEADS TO CHICAGO FOR PLAYOFFS.

The Fusion finished the regular season with a 42-12 win over the West Michigan Mayhem Saturday night at home in Maple Heights. The Fusion finished regular season at 6-2 with losses only to the reigning national champion Boston and the #1 ranked DC Divas. QB BETH ANDRASIK was 14 for 29 for 240 yards. RB MERCEDES EPHRAIM had 25 carries for 227 yards. WR MARIA JACKSON had 6 receptions for 76 yards and 1 TD. WR KANISHA COWARD had 6 receptions for 147 yards. KATIE GREEN and ANGELA MASON had interceptions and VERONICA RUCKER again led the team in tackles.  The team goes to Chicago on June 27th to play the Chicago Force for the first round of the playoffs.
