2014 TRYOUTS TO BE HELD SUNDAY SEPTEMBER 29

The Fusion will be holding tryouts for the 2014 season at 4:30 pm on Sunday, September 29th at the North Olmsted Sportsplex Outdoor Field. The field is located at 31515 Lorain Rd. in North Olmsted, OH 44070. Please wear athletic clothes and cleats or tennis shoes and bring a water bottle. A $20 Tryout Fee is required. It can be paid by cash or check made payable to the Cleveland Fusion.

CHICAGO WINS NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP, THE ONLY TEAM TO BEAT THE FUSION ; FUSION ALL-AMERICANS SHINE IN SAN DIEGO.

THE CHICAGO FORCE, THE ONLY TEAM TO BEAT THE FUSION THIS YEAR WON THE NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP IN SAN DIEGO ON AUGUST 3 BY BEATING THE DALLAS DIAMONDS 81-20. The next day CLEVELAND FUSION ALL-AMERICANS playing in the ALL-AMERICAN GAME DID OUR TEAM AND CITY PROUD.
  They received compliments from many players and coaches from around the league, including the league owner. ANGELA MASON had 3 INT, one for a 95 yard TD, MARIA JACKSON had three great catches one for a TD, WRECKING BALL RUCKER played D-End and created havoc, while also playing LB, LEANN McKEE had a big tackle for a loss, busted her face open and still played when she was needed even though she had to get stitches, and finally BETH DILLOW was doing her regular leading the O-line, paying D-line in crucial situations and was a captain of the team. The CLEVELAND FUSION IS DEFINITELY ON THE NATIONAL MAP. The National All-American team was coached by FUSION HEAD COACH ERIK KEISTER and  was assisted by MARTINA LATESSA

FUSION RECORD SEASON ENDS ; LOSE TO CHICAGO IN SECOND ROUND OF NATIONAL PLAYOFFS

WFA DISTRICT CHAMPION CLEVELAND FUSION’S BEST SEASON (8-0 REGULAR SEASON AND 9-1 OVERALL) IN HISTORY CAME TO A CLOSE SATURDAY NIGHT IN CHICAGO AS THE CHICAGO FORCE BEAT THE FUSION 65-7. THE FORCE, WHO IS PROBABLY DESTINED FOR THE NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP EXTENDED THEIR PERFECT RECORD TO 9-0. THE ONLY FUSION SCORE WAS AN 88 YARD INTERCEPTION BY AMANDA COOCH. THANKS TO ALL OF OUR FANS FOR YOUR TREMENDOUS SUPPORT THIS SEASON. STAY TUNED FOR POST SEASON AND OFF SEASON NEWS. GO FUSION!

FUSION WINS IN FIRST ROUND OF WFA PLAYOFFS ; BEATS WEST MICHIGAN 35-6.

THE CLEVELAND FUSION BEAT THE WEST MICHIGAN MAYHEM 35-6 IN THE FIRST ROUND OF THE WFA PLAYOFFS SATURDAY NIGHT AT CWRU. Quarterback Beth Andrasik was 12 for 25 for 204 yards, 2 TDs and 1 interception. Scoring touchdowns for the Fusion were Chawnte Johnson, Maria Jackson, Candace Jones and Kanisha Coward. Chawnte Johnson had 22 carries for 159 yard and 2 TDs. Maria Jackson had 4 receptions for 135 yards and 1 TD. Angela Mason had 3 interceptions. THE FUSION GOES TO CHICAGO NEXT SATURDAY TO PLAY THE CHICAGO FORCE IN THE SECOND ROUND OF PLAYOFFS. GO FUSION!

FUSION BEGINS POST SEASON PLAY THIS SATURDAY VS. WEST MICHIGAN MAYHEM

HEY FUSION FANS.THE FUSION BEGINS POST SEASON PLAY THIS SATURDAY (6/15) AT 7PM AT CWRU VS. WEST MICHIGAN MAYHEM AFTER A STELLAR 8-0 REGULAR SEASON. The last time the two teams met, The Mayhem was the victor. FUSION HEAD COACH ERIK KEISTER  HAS SAID “THAT WON’T HAPPEN AGAIN SATURDAY”.
