FUSION BLASTS COMETS 47-6 IN COLUMBUS SATURDAY NIGHT. PREPARES FOR #1 RANKED BOSTON THIS SATURDAY, MAY 16 AT HOME

The Cleveland Fusion blasted the Columbus Comet 47-6 last night in Columbus. QB Beth Andrasik was 6 for 15 for 172 yards, 3 TDs and 0 ints. RB Mercedes Ephraim had 21 carries for 294 yards. WR Maria Jackson had 5 receptions for 84 yards and 3 TDS. QB Keri Palma was 3 for 6 for 29 yards, 1 TD and 0 ints. Katie Green had 5 PATs. THE FUSION now begins preparations for the #1 RANKED AND DEFENDING NATIONAL CHAMPION BOSTON RENEGADES THIS SATURDAY, MAY 16 AT 7:00 PM AT MAPLE HEIGHTS STADIUM.

FUSION RIPS INDY 35-0 SATURDAY NIGHT TO BRING SEASON RECORD TO 3-0

THE FUSION RIPPED THE INDY CRASH LAST NIGHT 35-0. The team has OUTSCORED ITS OPPONENTS 119-0 in its first three appearances of the 2015 season. The DEFENSE  continued to NOT GIVE UP A POINT AS THE DEFENSE HELD AFTER SEVERAL GOAL LINE STANDS AGAINST INDY. QB  BETH ANDRASIK was 9 of 21 for 179 yards, 2 TDs and 2 inteceptions. RB MERCEDES EPHRAIM had 22 rushes for 274 yards and 2 TDs. WR MARIA JACKSON had 8 receptions for 172 yards and 2 TDs.

LAUREN ACKER HAD 5 PATs to remain PERFECT for the SEASON  PATS. The Fusion has a BYE next week, then travels to Columbus returning HOME on MAY 16th to play

The FUSION crushed their longtime rival COLUMBUS COMETS 49-0 last night at its HOME OPENER before an enthusiastic crowd at beautiful MAPLE HEIGHTS STADIUM. The FUSION is 2-0 OUTSCORING OPPONENTS 84-0. QB BETH ANDRASIK was 12 for 19 for 263 yards, 6 TDs and no interceptions. RB MERCEDES EPHRAIM had 20 carries for 211 yards and 1 TD and 2 receptions for 65 yards and 2 TDs. WR  MARIA JACKSON had 5 receptions for 134 yards and 4 TDs. The FUSION will meet the INDY CRASH this SATURDAY, APRIL 25 at MAPLE HEIGHTS Stadium at 7:oo PM.

FUSION OPENS 2015 SEASON WITH 35-0 WIN OVER CENTRAL MARYLAND

The #3 ranked Fusion opened the 2015 season last night in Baltimore with a 35-0 win over the Central Maryland Seahawks. QB Beth Andrasik was 6 for 13 for 82 yards, 3 TDs and 0 interceptions. RB Mercedes Ephraim had 9 carries for 116 yards and 2 TDs. WR Maria Jackson had 4 receptions for 58 yards and 3 TDs. Kicker Lauren Aker had 5 PATs.
The team returns home next Saturday, April 18 for its Home Opener against the Columbus Comets at 7:00 PM at its beautiful NEW HOME MAPLE HEIGHTS HIGH SCHOOL STADIUM.

THE FUSION ENDED ITS 2014 SEASON SATURDAY NIGHT WITH A 47-6 SECOND ROUND PLAYOFF LOSS IN BOSTON. THE #1 RANKED BOSTON MILITIA IS THE ONLY TEAM TO BEAT THE FUSION THIS SEASON. MARIA JACKSON HAD THE ONLY FUSION SCORE ON A 39 YARD RECEPTION FROM QUARTERBACK BETH ANDRASIK. THE FUSION WOULD LIKE TO THANK OUR FANS FOR YOUR TREMENDOUS SUPPORT OF OUR 2014 SEASON.
