FUSION LOSES 24-20 TO DEFENDING NATIONAL CHAMPION BOSTON

THE CLEVELAND FUSION LOST A HEARTBREAKER TO DEFENDING NATIONAL CHAMPION BOSTON RENEGADES 24-20 SATURDAY NIGHT IN MAPLE HEIGHTS. Fusion fans were treated to a real thriller as the NATIONAL CHAMPIONS WERE ALMOST DEFEATED. QB KERI PALMA was 12 for 30 for 148 yards, 2 TDs and 1 interception. PALMA also had 21 carries for 112 yards and 1 TD. RB MERCEDES EPHRAIM had 21 carries for 37 yards. WR MARIA JACKSON had 9 receptions for 112 yards and 2 TDs. KICKER LAUREN ACKER had 2 PATs. The Fusion travels to Detroit and Washington DC after a BYE this weekend. The team returns home on JUNE 13 to meet THE WEST MICHIGAN MAYHEM at beautiful Maple Heights Stadium at 7:00 PM.
